David Critelli is President of David F. Critelli & Company LLC, a corporate real estate services and consulting firm. He established the company in 1991 to capitalize on the challenging real estate market at the time and to react and adapt to the ever-changing real estate market environment for the future. The company’s mission is to create strategic partnerships with clients and municipalities to provide solid, thorough, real estate services that will accelerate the client’s success and offer the best competitive advantage.
The company’s main thrust of business is in tenant representation and brokerage for office, warehouse, industrial, R&D, retail, site selection and land development requirements. In addition, the company also offers management consulting services to the corporate and commercial communities as well as Municipal redevelopment. With over 35 years of experience in corporate real estate, land development and redevelopment, David has established a solid track record of success in his business.
David’s prior experience was as an Executive Vice President with James Polak & Associates from 1989 to 1991. He managed Capital Center at Mansfield, a 207 acre approved mixed-use corporate business campus approved for up to 4.5 million square feet. In addition, he was Head of Leasing and Marketing, having direct interactions and negotiations with tenants, brokers and corporate real estate executives as well as liaison for all governmental agencies and authorities related to the project. He also developed and implemented marketing plans, public relations and market awareness programs as well as land and investment grade property acquisition analysis and contract negotiations.
David also held Broker Associate positions with Falkin Associates from 1985-1989 and Eisenhower Inc. from 1984 to 1985 which was acquired by Coldwell Banker. His responsibilities spanned corporate leasing and sales of office and industrial properties as well as approved and raw land tracts, turnkey tenant fit up, and coordination of development projects from land acquisitions, master planning, governmental approval process, marketing strategies and deal making. David was also instrumental in building a commercial investment property division at Eisenhower Inc. where the focus was brokerage of garden apartment complexes and office buildings to and for syndicators on a national and local basis. Earlier experience was in commercial and residential real estate with Century 21 from 1980 to 1984.
David received a Bachelors in Political Science from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey in 1983. He is a member of the Board of Trustees for Kappa Sigma Fraternity and was a Vice President of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity during his tenure at Rutgers. He is also a member of ICSC, International Council of Shopping Centers and has been involved with NACORE, National Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives, NJ Business & Industry Association, NJ State Chamber of Commerce, Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce and Somerset County Chamber of Commerce, Somerset County 200 Club F.O.P member in Somerset and Monmouth Counties. As a CERT member, an emergency response team, David was a first responder who rode out SuperStorm Sandy at the Jersey Shore in Monmouth County.
